Jetty in Palm's WebOS?

The Boy Genius Report has an interesting screenshot with Palm's new WebOS for the Pre starting up, and showing Jetty... Here's the image page We're certainly in favor of Jetty in mobile situations. It is small enough to fit those footprints, and can still get good performance, as we've seen in efforts around i-Jetty for Google's Android. Good going! Presuming it stays accessible, it should be great for developers and for porting apps to Palm's snazzy UI. Now we just need to get them up to a more recent version of Jetty... (shows 6.1.4)

Comments:

I noticed the same thing. I'll be even happier to learn that webOS has Jetty running as a bundle inside an OSGi container, won't you?

Yes, and we'd also like to update the HTTP and servlet facilities in OSGi to use the newer spec levels, too

I was wondering if the hightide jetty build can be dropped in place of jetty (6.1.4) without the other packages that come with hightide. Is there any performance advantages of using the hightide build rather than the original jetty build? We are looking for a high performance open source solution as we are coming from Resin Pro. Thank you.
