Hightide 6.1H.6 Release

Hightide 6.1H.6 is available for download from the Webtide website here:

The changes in this release include:

  • jetty 6.1.6
  • atomikos version updated to 3.2.1
  • dwr updated to 2.0.2
  • debian packaging

Release 6.1H.6rc0 of Hightide is ready for download from:

This release:

  • upgrades jetty to version 6.1.6rc0
  • upgrades atomikos to version 3.2.0
  • upgrades derby to version 10.3.1.4
  • removes dependency on joda-time

Greg Wilkins to speak at the Ajax Experience

Greg Wilkins, the lead developer of Jetty and CEO of Webtide, will be speaking at this years The Ajax Experience in Boston. Greg's presentation is about the challenges of scalably serving Ajax Comet from Java Servlets. The various asynchronous servlet extensions are evaluated and several case studies examined, including the jetty implementation of cometd.
